About Me

I have always loved stories...as a kid I was a voracious reader, and discovered movies when I got older. I am fascinated by them, and I love telling stories visually. I have directed several short films and in the summer of 07 I directed my first feature, "Bubba's Chili Parlor". My second feature, "Monsterland", shot summer 2008, is finished; it's basically a scary re-working of "Alice's Adventures In Wonderland", except that Alice goes through her closet (instead of the rabbit hole) into a world of monsters. Pre-production on "In The Dead Of Night" has begun, and will be shot beginning this summer in downntown Dallas, Texas, 2009. I've got two other projects in early development - more on those as they develop - it's too early to say anything about them yet! Anyway, feel free to drop me a line!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

The King of all B-movie actors, Bruce Campbell. Hail to the King, baby.

My Blog

Star Trek...kick ass restart!

JJ Abrams, an acknowledged non-fan of Star Trek, took a critical look at the universe and re-booted the whole thing with fresh perspective. Many of us were wary of that but...it seems to have worked. ...

X-Men Origins: Wolverine - Hmm....

Not a terrible movie, but not great either. There were a lot of plot elements that made no sense, and we, as an audience, were apparently supposed to not question them. Especially weak was the way Wol...

Took my sick daughter to see Monsters vs Aliens 3D...

It was damn fun. The 3D animation was stunning - a new bar has been set. There were many scenes where I would just say "holy shit" to myself. The scope of size and distances were dizzying at times.The...

Allison knocked it out of the park tonight!

I don't even like "Papa Was A Rolling Stone" but I was digging her version. Megan was terrible tonight - first time I didn't like her. She looked smoking hot, though! Danny and Anoop were both surpris...

Battlestar Galactica - last episode tomorrow!

Adama, spin up the FTL's one last time and let's kick some Cylon ass!I'm not ready for the show to end yet, so I'm bummed. I'm wondering what's going to happen - the humans, (and a band of rebel Cylon...

Idol...I voted for Megan

Not the best singer but she's got a unique sound and I like the way she performs. She's good looking as well, except for that garish, obnoxious tattoo covering her entire arm.Who is Out?...My vote is ...

Forget "Twilight"..."Let The Right One In" is the vampire movie to see!

I meant to see this last summer in London while there with "Bubba", but ended up being drunk by the time it screened (damn you Ian and Paul!).Fascinating movie. It's horror, it's a vampire movie, but ...

Coraline 3D

Wow, one of the most beautiful movies, visually, I've ever seen. Fantastic in 3D. It's a deliberately paced movie, allowing time for the characters to develop, but it has a great finish. I'm tired of ...
