Since Guyver burst onto the hard dance scene in 2002 he has been a major influence on many producers and djs, inspiring the hard trance sound which is now extremely popular in the scene.
His real name is Guy Mearns, and his rise to stardom started when he was 17 and sent a demo into Tidy Trax, and they instantly snapped him up as a producer and dj. Since then he has had many successful productions, with quite a few reaching 'classic' status, probably most notably "Man on The Moon" and "Serious Sound".
Guyver is well known and well respected all around the hard dance scene, and he has a fan base that extends to Japan, South Africa, Canada and even Australia.
2006 will see the release of some of his album tracks on Tidy, which a release date is to be announced. These tracks will represent some new sounds and styles being introduced into his productions, showing a new side of Guyver that might turn a few heads and set some new trends.
On the dj front, Guy has rocked clubs all around the world, playing at clubs in Canada, USA, Australia, Japan, South Africa, Norwary, Holland, Spain and New Zealand. His diary remains busy, playing at clubs regularly in the UK and Abroad, never failing to hit a chord with the crowds and delivering some truely breath-taking music.
Recently Guy has set up his own digital record label named 'Audiophile Digital', with the aim of releasing new and fresh music from a variety of genres, including hard dance, trance, house and breaks. This label will feature a few of Guy's other aliases in the different genre's that he produces.
