Dean Moriarty & The Dixie Dicks

...are now Kummerbuben

About Me

BREAKING NEWS: Dean Moriarty & The Dixie Dicks are dead. But don't worry, they just change their name – into Kummerbuben. And they change their programme – away from Tom Waits to own songs. Or better said: They take old, forgotten, gloom, melancholic Swiss folk songs, shattering, hammering, screwing, recomposing them and make them sound like the liked rumbeling Kummerbuben music. In autumn 07 the new songs will appear on an album. This site is in Memory of good ol Dixie Dicks. For the now work of the Kummerbuben, check www.kummerbuben.com.
BRECHENDE NEUIGKEITEN: Dean Moriarty & The Dixie Dicks sind tot. Songs recorded in the cellar

The two songs you can listen to were recordings out of the bandroom, recorded with microphones others would use at most as a back-scratcher. The songs give an impression how we sound live, not more. N...
