Because We Can WERE an alternative country band, with an unfortunate name, from Melbourne, Australia. They did feature mandolin and female harmonies and some kickass tunes and stuff.As of October 2006 they have, however, officially become no more. That’s right – the band has bitten the dust. Kicked the bucket. Given up the ghost. Fallen off the perch.
