About Me

Well, I'm 24. I hang out with my wang out. I'm in the house like furniture. I crash like Windows. I'm bold like a Sharpie. I'm fresh like lettuce. I'm chill like the Ice Age. I'm dope like syringes. I flow like the Santa Ana; in trickles and ridges. I'm in there like swimwear. (Thanks Manny)
I live in Riverside, my hometown of nearly 22 of nearly 25 years. This town has the best culture and history. Yet in other ways, it's like LA/OC's little brother that tries way too hard to be cool. I love music of all sorts, word games, boredom, bicycling, bowling, eating at new restaurants, eating at old favorites, traveling (though I havent done any), getting cozy with my beautiful girlfriend, doing ANYTHING with my beautiful girlfriend, and more things I cant think of. A geek at heart with friends abundant. Oh, I love to play my new guitar and seek to form a group after I fucked up my last one. A deep regret to the passing of the communication device that was deemed very hungry. For good times, see http://www.download.com/starvingradio

My Interests

listening & collecting music (see music section), performing music (my bands Starving Radio and the one that may someday), playing music (tuba, clarinet, sax, trumpet, trombone, guitar, bass, violin, horn, digeridoo, bagpipes, accordion, or anything else i've picked up), long bike rides, bowling, creating something out of nothing, loitering, record store hopping, trips to Guitar Center; the strange, unusual, and funny; and mostly hanging with my friends, for if you are my friend, you well know it.

I'd like to meet:

On Here: Old Friends, Interesting People but only if they approach me, I could care less; I have enough friends.
Elsewhere: Kevin Smith, Dave Grohl,Eddie Van Halen, Robert Plant, Billy Corgan, God's twin brother Dave.

DEATH TO PINEAPPLES

Music:

Nirvana, dredg, Veruca Salt, System of a Down, Van Halen, Mars Volta, Radiohead, Shun, Weezer, Beatles, Apex Theory, Incubus, Del the Funkee Homosapein, Agnes Gooch, Hepcat, Kittie, Tenacious D, Foo Fighters, Muse, Tool, Black Sabbath, Toadies, Kylie Minogue (guilty pleasure), Conspiracy of Thought, MC Paul Barman, Paulson, Ween, Soul Asylum, White Stripes, Supertramp, Bad Company, or anything good really.
My top 20 contains some awesome bands you might not have heard of; many local or unsigned acts.

Movies:

i don't really watch movies since my attention span wont let me sit for 2 hrs often. when it does: Kevin Smith flicks (CLERKS, CLERKS II, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, JSB Strike Back, Drawing Flies, Jersey Girl, Clerks 2, Clerks Animated Series, etc), Wayne's World, Good Will Hunting, Super Troopers, Detroit Rock City, Office Space; also tons of music DVDs. Interesting movies I've seen recently include Clerks II, Children of Men, and the awesome Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Television:

i don't watch network TV anymore except when I remember Conan O'Brien is on, otherwise I love Jeopardy!, Family Guy, South Park, Mythbusters, Overhaulin', Robot Chicken, Food Network, Adult Swim, GSN (and Playmania where I won $120!), Toons, Discovery/History Channels, and Nick@Nite. Also thanks to the wonders of a DVR, I now enjoy The Office.

Books:

I love to read books that discuss my socio-political beliefs, books about music or musician biographies, or just any book thats fun or smart to read. Recently read an Economics book...can't remember name, 4 of 6 Harry Potter books, George Carlin's "Napalm & Silly Putty", "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand, and "The Hitchhiker's Guide" pentalogy by Douglas Adams.

Heroes:

My hero is anyone who is doing what they said 5 years ago that they wanted to be doing. If you ballz enough to be able to dodge drama and fate, and keep on the road, then my friend you are well ahead of the traffic on the highway of life.
