When I'm not working the day job to put food on the table or writing to keep my sanity, I run, play volleyball and work on my tennis game.
...Anyone who finds the above interesting. And interesting people in general. I met Ed Robertson of BNL before publication, so if you see him, tell Ed that WHEN I FALL is finally in print!!!
Barenaked Ladies (thanks again, Ed, for the inspiration!), Indigo Girls (fantastic harmony), local Philly artists Jim Boggia and 4-Way Street, (Look them up! definitely worth it!), JT, Five for Fighting, Corrs, all things acoustic and melodic!
All-time favorite: Braveheart. The end.
Boston Legal, 24, Desperate Housewives, House, Gray's Anatomy
At the moment...the favorite is, you guessed it: "WHEN I FALL." What'd you expect? So how do you get your hands on a copy??? Visit www.barbmcclatchy.com . Currently reading "Lisey's Story," Stephen King. Otherwise, anything Dan Brown (Angels & Demons was better than DaVinci, I thought), Stuart Woods, James Patterson, Grisham (early stuff..."The Painted House" actually inspired me back in 2001 to do better than that attempt... so thanks for the inspiration, John!) Specific works I loved: Kiterunner, Lovely Bones, The Notebook, Memoirs of a Geisha. I'll try anything, although I tend to write suspense.
Mel Hawthorne (the window-washing hero of When I Fall), and in real life, my husband, who puts up with it all...
