Michael Hill - Trance/Dance Producer

About Me

At 27 years old, Michael Hill has reached a pivotal point in his career, having successfully secured several recording contracts with some of the most respected dance publishing companies within the European hemisphere, including Purple Eye Entertainment BV, and Tsunami Records. His hit track "Voice of Angels" was well received and supported by dj's such as Ferry Corsten, Tiesto, and Paul van Dyk. Michael's introduction to music began with the classical tuition he received when he was just 3 years old (of which he continued until into his teens). With this experience Michael was able to develop musically at an advanced rate, evident in his first production and release of a track at the age of 15. With this newly found confidence he felt eager to explore more live based opportunities, so began performing at various local venues in and around his community, slowly creating a following for his productions. It was at this point that Michael came across H.E.M.P, (an organisation hosting parties and events throughout Europe), and met J Bubbs. During the '90s a new challenge presented itself, which resulted in Michael moving to England to launch a studio and production company alongside J Bubbs. From this partnership successful records were made,a couple featuring the likes of Jamaican artists Lady Saw and Wayne Wonder. It was no wonder that they attracted the attention of labels Kronik Records and Incentive music. Michael didn't limit himself there, he was soon making a name for himself as a mix engineer, and has to date an impressive 250+ mixed tracks under his belt. Thirty of those are produced by Michael and appear on the yet unreleased non-violence game called Prince Of Thunder, (IMU Studios), and varies from electronic/trance to acoustic and classical. In 2004, he decided to go solo as an artist and a year later was signed to a top label and released "Voice of Angels". This was the beginning for Michael in making a name for himself in the euphoric trance scene. The partnership with J Bubbs still continues with Michael mixing hip hop and r'n'b tracks intended for artists in England, Europe and America. Michael Hill is currently seeking producers for collaborations and female vocalists for future releases.
