Review of our new EP Walk Without Fear in Hyde Park Heat (March):
"Classic British songwriting first up from Roguish
Stranger, with hints of The Kinks and Belle &
Sebastian among others. Lightweight, but packed
with melody, poetry and twee goodness. Really
like the production as it’s full of twinkly layers and
swirly organs, but tinny enough to let you know it
was mostly plucked by quality musicians on real
pieces of wood/metal. Charismatic, fresh, and
nice to hear something hippyish but well written.
