About Me

iggy ignotius is no longer a solo artist. he is one half of the group illuminalogists, and does ambient music under a different name, all of which has nothing to do with iggy ignotius or illuminalogists. that said...
iggy ignotius is interested in two things: electronic music and esotericism.
exposure during his adolescence to the production of company flow, squarepusher, dj krush and others got him started exploring his own sound via 1999 model mpc2000. his subsequent work with several different artists (including production for the hiphop crew Abolitionists) helped him to develop and mold his sound. fast forward to 2007 and iggy is saying 'no thanks' to conventional hiphop and producing exclusively with a computer. his shadow- and krush-biting days are long gone, ushering in new projects in minimal electronic, ambient and noise.
throughout his years of production, iggy has also been involved in scholarly and experimental studies of various spiritual traditions. his range of interests includes freemasonry, zen buddhism, yoga, tarot and various schools of mysticism. these studies coincide with co-conspirator intricate dialect's own studies of the same general type, but more specifically magic, ancient egypt, tarot and kabbalah. these interests, not so common to the average hiphopper but a major factor in the lives of both, led the two to found a new school of esotericism for the 21st century called illuminalogy. to spread the teachings, the two formed a duo known as illuminalogists. illuminalogists features electronic beats with rapped vocals that expose secrets of freemasonry, the illuminati and all other secret societies.
illuminalogists is the most revolutionary and original musical group ever to exist because they present musical/lyrical content that is completely unexplored - not only in hiphop, but within all of the history of music itself.
