Shadows

Driving through this town tonight,
I saw a memory.
A touch, A smile, A crazy look,
That you once gave to me.
Even though month's have passed,
The time then still remains.
The littelest thing can unlock a door,
And take me there again.
It's nice when I remember,
Your laughter and your love.
I sometimes really miss you,
And what you were made of.
I know I had to let you go,
You were leaving me behind.
You didn't even know it,
But it was on your mind.
I know you didn't mean it,
And I know you didn't see.
For you were looking elsewhere,
And needing to be free.
But you're splender in your freedom,
You shine your shine so bright.
So I'm out here chasing shadows,
That you left on your freedom flight.
It hurts to know you'll love another,
The pain will never go away.
You will always be in my thoughts,
And I'll think you every day.
To say I've learned my lesson,
Would be to say I've found a cure.
For one of mans most common needs,
A love that's true and pure.
If time can heel a broken heart,
I hope my heart will heel in time.
I'm out here chasing shadows,
And you are always on my mind.

Where Do We Go From Here

Clouds are driftin' ,across a creasent moon.
My soul feels winter,in the middle of june.
The wind is whistling,but it's way out of tune
Where do we go from here
I take two steps,and it sets me back three.
I try so hard,to get ahead of me.
I keep searching,with blind eyes that can't see.
Where do we go from here
Memories at night,they crowd out my sleep,
Thoughts of you,run way to deep.
I keep praying,for my soul to keep.
Where do we go from here.
The sun is comming up,up on the horizon.
The color blue,it seems to bring a tear.
Wish you were here,to share this quiet moment.
Where do we go from here.
Where do we go, when our hearts are broken.
Wher do we go,when there's to much pain.
Where do we go, with a promise unspoken
Ooh ohh oh what remains.
