Black Ink & Bass

Low Tones & Womanly Moans

About Me

Poet/Performer Teri Knox ... started performing (consistently) in 1997 in Oakland, CA. In 1999/2000 she brought it home to D.C. She has been co-hosting "The Women In The Life" poetry series with Shauna Clark (StrangeFroot) every second Tuesday of the month since Fall of 2000 ...

Daddy/Musician/Entertainer Dave Walsh ... is accompanying on Upright Bass. Along with our collaboration, Black Ink and Bass, he is currently in the bands Wizardbomb and UnYoung Heroes . He has been playing music since childhood, with wildly extreme musical influences. For Dave, Music is an Art of Passion that only compares to the Love his Son ...

We both agree that we perform ’cause we can’t help it. We have to, we’re sprung.
