.. History Setting:
As the co-workers/friends sat and gabbed about these main “friends†in their lives they also knew about the other “friends†they both had on the side. The more they talked the more they challenged each other with some questions that made these friends evaluate their use of the phrase “Just Friendsâ€.Being the progressive individuals that they were, they wrote down the questions and instantly decided to see if other people, beginning with their co-workers would get the same reaction they did, which was to challenge this dating-related term… "Oh, that’s just my friend".Wanting immediate results the co-workers tried their survey questions out on one of their co-workers whom happen to be in the classic “just friends†scenario. As the interview process began one of our co-workers was unaware that she was in a “just friends†situation until we left her with our three principals to reflect on. Needless to say, although she did come to realize that maybe her “friend†didn’t share the same intentions but she still decided to remain in that “friend†status. From that experience we decided to write this book, not to be tool to finding Mr. or Mrs. Right but to honestly challenge the thinking and actions on how we as a society participate in the cultural ritual of dating. The goal of this book is to stimulate one’s thoughts around our three principles while dating...Intentions, Honesty, and Accountability/Responsibility"Do YOU still think you're 'Just Friends'?"
