About Me

CHECK OUT MY WEBSITE AT www.fantasyfacesbyandrea.com to see what I do...Ok, I've decided to be a bit more secretive. No more life story on the profile page. You MySpacians already know WAY too much about me and my life. This space is for friends, not FREAKS! (Unless you are a friend who just so happens to be a freak as well, that's cool...) So this is how it's gonna go from now on. If you know me, you probably already know enough about me, so WELCOME! If you knew me in the past, went to school with me or remember me from places like Noir Leather, St. Andrew's, City Club, Todd's, the Alcove, Bookies etc... and want to know what I'm doing these days, WELCOME! It's very nice to see you again! If you are a make-up artist, photographer, model or a face/body painter and want to do some networking, WELCOME! If you're looking for a date, or are some business or famous band wanna-be spamming everyone on myspace, GO AWAY! 'Nuff said. Have a happy MySpace day:) This layout is from whateverlife.com ♥ !

My Interests

I love painting anything, especially people, (see my website at www.fantasyfacesbyandrea.com and creating mosaic art, amongst other artforms. I love reading, spending time with my family up at our cabin in the woods near Higgins Lake, and riding my ATV like a madwoman on fire. I'm into nature, great coffee, paintball, music, gardening, cooking (and eating). I also enjoy drinking quite a bit these days (in moderation of course!)...it's my last remaining crutch. Currently strong Margarita's and spiked lemonade are my drinks of choice. But I'll take a good ol' Corona w/lime any time too! This is my son Lucky doing the Robot dance all over Disneyworld. I'm such a proud parent!

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to... uh......"MEET" Johnny Depp, for obvious reasons, but he must arrive dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow! And it would be best if he brought along Matthew McConoughey just for kicks! Oooohhh yeeaaahhh.....My needs are simple yet satisfying.

How many have your name?

Music:

I am all over the place with this one. I'm still a die hard fan of old-school 70's-80's alternative/punk; Blondie, The Damned, GenX, The Clash, The Ramones, Elvis Costello, The Decendents/ALL, Chili Peppers, alot of old new wave & goth music and pretty much EVERYTHING in between from "back in the day". Current favs are Jack Johnson, Joss Stone, Blue October, Presidents if the United States of America, John Mayer, Norah Jones, Pink, there are just WAY too many to list. Viva La Satellite Radio! Whatever I'm in the mood for is what I choose to listen to! Unfortunately, the reality is that I live with a 14 year old who is obsessed with 14 year old music. So there is usually a teenage-meltdown-mix going on in my house and car at all times. I just smile and drive.....smile...and drive.....(try hard not to drive into a large oak tree) then I go home and have a Margarita...or three...

Movies:

BORAT is one of my current favorites, along with School of Rock, but they change all the time. I love fantasy movies (Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Narnia etc...) Super-Hero movies, anything with Johnny Depp, Jack Black, Jim Carey, Ben Stiller, Adam Sandler, I LOVE Napolean Dynamite! Dumb and Dumber is one of my absolute favorite movies of all time and I can pretty much recite the whole movie by heart. I also like spooky movies, old fashioned monster movies, and pschyco-thrillers, but I HATE realistic-type scary serial killer movies, sad/emotional movies and war movies. I LOVE DISNEY! I like anything that makes me laugh or feel good. There's enough grief, anguish, evil and pain in real life, I don't need to watch it in a movie!

Television:

I am a LOST addict. I haven't missed one episode yet! I also love Dexter, The Office, My Name is Earl, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Good Eats!(I heart Alton Brown) Other than that, my house is ruled by a 14 year old girl with a remote control. I've pretty much given up on the TV, so I just read most of the time. (and drink Margarita's..hee-hee)

Books:

My favorite book I've read in recent times is WITH by Donald Harington, but at the moment I find myself loving historical fiction, particularly of the Elizabethan era (15th/16th century) I will read anything that looks interesting, different or intriguing.

Heroes:

So many people amaze me, and my heroes change with the different stages of my life. Right now, it's my Grandma DuBuc. Her strength, spirit, kindness and generosity continuously leave me speechless. My husband who works very hard, and strives to provide a wonderful life for his family. My mom, who's daily energy and lust for life never ceases to amaze me. And my kids...their neverending race to jump their many daily obstacles and fearlessly advance into this crazy world will continue to enthrall me long into the future...if I'm lucky enough! My friends, just for being my friends, and last but not least, the Wolfe Brothers, for "spreading joy to the world" through their creative talents and sharing their "top secret" techniques with ME!
