About Me

Dj and sometimes mc (i was in hardcore bands called Space/Unsound as an mc). I play in France and anywhere it's possible to represent my sound, SONARCOTIK from Marseille, south of France, who bring the noise through Dub, breakcore, roots and deviant tunes.
My roots come from reggae (1980), goth & punk (1985), jazzcore / hardcore (1988), hip hop (1990) and of course jungle breakz (1994) and make me grow with open minded attitude... "Hey ! We got the PMA !"
Even my dj sets are oriented to the breakcore scene and the whole ragga-jungle family (old skool, new skool & break'n'raggacore insiiide !), i also play a lot of dub, hard drum, dubwise, abstract hip hop, IDM, raggamuffin, etc.
My pleasure is to push your skills so let me know !!! I'm a sound navigator ranger ; )
In late 1998, with RZ0, eleboration of a multiversal collective where musicians meets painters, dj's, and video makers. SONARCOTIK sound system was born.
2004, the crew grows (10 different artists inside) and i start to plan our first production on cd. MCP records (Marseille City Pressure recs) will born one year later and drop the various arstists "SONARCOTIK : Night of the Living Dread",
a 15 tracks compilation, a mutant dub oriented skill. So, Massive all around, check this and make this label live...

Dj et parfois mc (ex-hurleur / rappeur de la formation metal hardcore Space/Unsound). Je joue en France et partout où c'est possible pour représenter mon sound, SONARCOTIK basé à Marseille, qui envoie sa race, mélangeant des influences aussi diverses que Dub, breakcore, roots et sons déviants.
Mes roots viennent du reggae (1980), goth & punk (1985), jazzcore / hardcore (1988), hip hop (1990) et bien sùr jungle breakz (1994). "Ouverture d'esprit et positive mental attitude sont nos maîtres-mots !" ;)
Même si mes dj sets sont orientés vers la scène breakcore et la grande famille ragga jungle (old skool, new skool, raggacore insiiide !), je sélecte aussi pas mal de dub, hard drum, dubwise, abstract hip hop, IDM, raggamuffin, etc.
Alors faites pêter vos sons !!! Je suis le sound navigator ranger ; )
Fin 1998, avec RZ0, élaboration d'un collectif où musiciens croisent peintres, dj's et vidéastes. SONARCOTIK sound system est né.
2004, le crew grandit (10 differents projets) et je commence a planifier notre 1ère prod en cd. MCP records (Marseille City Pressure recs) naîtra un an plus tard avec la sortie de la compilation 100% AOC "SONARCOTIK : Night of the Living Dread", 15 titres de dub mutant. Tous les Massive alentours, checkent ça et faitent que ce label existe...
