Hmm... tough one. The famous people I'd care to meet I have met. As far as "regular" people, I know enough good people, but am always willing to meet more. :)
A bit of everything except rap. I listen to groups like Godsmack, Enya, Judas Priest, The Cranberries, Garth Brooks, Mudvayne, Air Supply, Black Label Society. I prefer the heavy stuff, but not always. ;)

Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series, any Ayn Rand novel, anything by Clive Cussler, Steven Brust
Police, Firefighters, any Armed Forces member. They put their lives on the line for ours.
