About Me

Hi, I'm Terry Goodkind. Several years ago I sat down to write a story that was 47 years in the making. I wanted to tell the story that Richard and Kahlan told to me, Wizards First Rule was born. Since then I've just completed # 12 in the Sword of Truth series. Each has been a world wide best seller, with over 50 million books in print. I owe this all to you my fans.I want to thank you for making me a #1 best selling author. The fact that you enjoy my stories, the characters, the world in which they exist, Richard, Kahlan, Zedd and so many more. I've had hundreds of you write me and tell me the most inspirational stories. Stories about how people read the books and the books changed their lives, inspired them to go back to school or became a doctor or did this or did that, helped gain a new perspective in their livesâ€¦so many great an inspirational things. I want you to know your messages do not go unnoticed or unappreciated. My greatest joy is that you find enjoyment from the Sword of Truth Series, that my friends is the real prize.Mystar will be updating some information in the next few days on "Confessor", and how to win some signed books, Official Sword of Truth Tee's (black of course!), House of Rahl Ball caps, mini-posters, bookmarks etc. I am signing several "House of Rahl" ball caps for this specific event. ===Internet Statement===As I do not have the Internet, I have Mystar maintaining this page for me. I had been so exasperated (as I'm sure you were as well), with several imposters creating a page in my name, this way no others will be using my name providing improper information or responses. I know how exasperating and disappointing it is when someone poses as another, you send honest and sincere messages, only to find out that you were duped. I am sorry that this has happened, so from now on we will no longer have this problem.As I already have Mystar as my Internet liaison, any messages on "myspace" are relayed to me via Mystar. If I do not respond, it is not due to anything more than the lack of hours in a day. Please understand that in order to provide you with a new book every year, to get everything done that I need to, leaves me with precious little time.
