Well where should I start..... I spent my youth playing trumpet in orchestra's and cornet in brass bands. Travelled all over Australia and New Zealand with that before getting a bit bored with the whole thing. Bought a cheap guitar, wrote some crappy songs and started playing in bands. Somewhere along the line I fell into playing drums and ended up drumming for 2 very different bands.Breathing Autumn is atmospheric indie rock inspired by bands like the Paradise Motel, Pedro the Lion, Mogwai, Low etc. We put out an EP called "Without Latitude" through Toupee Records and started getting some cool supports. We have taken some time off to focus on other projects but are back at it now.Hipakusha (who I have just left) is more of a funk/hip-hop outfit. Started out playing seedy pubs in West End and over the years worked our way up to clubs like the Press Club and Family. We put out the "Grand Royale" EP in 2005 and got some great reviews in the Brisbane press. 2006 we put out a double A side single - "The Lowdown/Scrimmage". This was produced by Anthony Lycenko (Pete Murray, PTY LTD, Elvis Costello) and was a great experience.I left Hipakusha to focus on recording and audio production which i am currently studying. I am also recording my own tunes as well.
