About Me

Alllllright. Time for some myspace reno's. My name's Jeremy (although my display name keeps changing, it doesn't mean my real name changes!) I live in the funky suburb of Red Hill in Brisbane, and I'm quite privileged to have one of the best jobs in the world! I get to play music and get paid for it. I'm a bass player and I play for about 5-7 bands around brizzie. My main band is SCAT JAZZ, and we're a christian Jazz band. It's great to be able to combine our love of music with our love of god! Other than that, when I'm bored, I start new bands (like i did 2 weeks ago. Check out myspace.com/jmx2000). So I guess I'm a music addict. I live it and breath it. I sometimes have beats and grooves going through my head when I shouldn't. (like during a sermon at church.) And there doesn't seem to be any cure for it! My Interests

I like Sleepin in, playing music, listening to music, playing cards (500 is the best game out!), eating tim tams and drinking coffee, catching up with friends, travelling the world. (I've looped the world 4 times now. woohoo!)

Yeah, I Don't really like music that much! However, I do like listenting to Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Marcus Miller, John Pattitucci, Victor wooten, Harry Connick Jnr, Miles Davis, Jamiroquai, Incognito, The Brand New Heavies. Oooh yeah, Fred Hammond and Kirk Franklin. (Cant beat PHat American Gospel.) Mmmm, Bedrock, Boomish, Bela Fleck, Medeski Martin and Wood, more Herbie Hancock (ok, I'm just going through my Ipod now.) Basement Jaxx, POD, Blindside.
