Stand-up Comedy:
Mitch Hedburg: Bananas are the opposite of traffic lights.. Green means slow down. Yellow means go ahead. Red means where the fuck did you get that banana at?!?
Demetri Martin: Every fight is a food fight, if you're a cannibal.
Steven Wright: I got a tatto of myself all over my body, 3 inches taller.

I'd like to meet people that have an eye for humor, a good sense of satire and a grasp for biting sarcasm. O_o
"A day without laughter is a day wasted"
"Don't take life too serious. You'll never escape it alive anyway."
There you go. My outlook summed up in two quotes by people smarter then me. Makes me feel all warm and tingly. Like crack... mmmmm crack...

allright then. let's see here.. Music and movies, two things I'm passionate about. Here's a mish-mash of crap that I update every blue moon:
Arctic Monkeys, Tegan and Sara, Minus the Bear, Mates of State, VAST, Clinic, DeVotchka, Ima Robot, We are Scientists, Wolfmother, Deerhoof, Ratatat, Tapes n Tapes, Sigur Ros, Of Montreal, Sujan Stevens, Talib Kweli, Death Cab for Cutie, The Faint, Death from Above 1979, Moving Units, The Shins, The Mars Volta, The Arcade Fire, Dizzee Rascal, Fall-Out Boy, Eisley, Mos Def, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, At the Drive In, The Album Leaf, Barbara Morgenstern, DeVotchka, Dntel, Bloc Party, Brand New, Jack Johnson, Beck, Explosions in the Sky, Venus Hum, ...And you will know us by the trail of dead, The Futureheads, DJ Danger Mouse, Norah Jones, Mindless Self Indulgence (norah jones then MSI.. how's that for eclectic?), Phoenix, Pinback, Radiohead, Rage against the machine, The Editors, The Killers, The Cribs, The Smiths, The Streets, The Strokes, The Thrills, The Postal Service, The The's (just kidding.. :-DSo uhh.. I'm not sure that I want to list out movies. No one ever reads them anyways. I honestly will enjoy watching ANY movie at least once. I look at it from someone who wants to be in the industry. I'm completely fascinated by the entire movie industry, every aspect of it. I can go watch an obviously crappy movie and still be entertained. I can still respect the entire process, start to finish, to get that movie in front of me in a theater (theatre??).
But, here's a few good ones right off the top of my head. Oldboy, Fight Club, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (RIP Hunter S. Thompson), 40 year old virgin, Requiem for a Dream, Old School, Wedding Crashers, Anchorman, Interview with a Vampire, Citizen Kane, Rushmore, Life Aquatic w/ Steve Zissou, Miller's Crossing, Hudsucker Proxy, Naked Lunch, Suicide Club, Audition, and..
uhh.. Comedy central and Poker is about it. I didn't have cable at home for the longest time, that I just gave up on TV. I became a computer dork instead. But, I've always liked Comedy Central for the standup comics.RIP: Mitch Hedberg :( one of the funniest comics that was working today.
Kurt Vonnegut, Hitchiker's guide to the galaxy, Hit & Run, Choke, Diary, (still plan to read all the palahniuk novels), Breakfest of Champions, Angels & Demons, Da Vinci Code, Harry Potter Series (yea yea, fuck you), Dark Tower Series (Though I've slacked and haven't read the last 2 yet), Ender's Game (and the series), Ender's Shadow (and the entire Bean series), Hyperion (!!! possibly the best sci fi series I've read), Dragonlance universe, Battletech universe.. I'm mostly a fantasy fiction dork when it comes to books. But, I like to read pretty much anything when I have the time.
Wes Anderson, Richard D. Zanuck, Zach Braff, Ivan Reitman, Ed Zwick, Lucas Foster, Brian Grazer, Jennifer and Suzanne Todd, Steven Spielberg, Ray Stark, Hunter S. Thompson.
