Hello to all! I'm Amanda (a.k.a Elsa) and I live with my boyfriend of over two and a half years in our wonderful apartment. I am a filmmaker and an extremist who has a need for speed. I'm a very athletic and artistic person; making short films is what I spend most of my time doing. Directing films is what I was put on this earth to do. I sing, dance, and also write in my free time. Since the age of 7, I was in gymnastics; my goal: to be in the 2000 Olympics. But after about 8 years of brutal training I quit and turned to dance, which I did for about 6 years. Along with these two activities, I've studied martial arts, in particular ju-jutsu, and also yoga. I'm a guitarist, I horseback ride, and swim with dolphins very frequently. I am also a paranormal investigator for SPI (Seilers' Paranormal Investigations). Lastly, I am deeply involved in anything Medieval or Fantasy in nature. I am an employee at the Ritz-Carlton, Palm Beach and am currently attending PBCC studying film for an Associates Degree.

I listen to pretty much everything, for I believe in the power of music. I find it difficult to give this a straight answer... techno/trance, industrial, opera, classical, metal, rock, pop, jazz, some oldies, reggae, and some country. Artists include composers, Howard Shore and Brad Fiedel (who did the Terminator Original Score), Metallica, Bryan Adams, Backstreet Boys (old and new), Apoptygma Berzerk, Juno Reactor, Michael Jackson, Celtic Woman, Sanatra, Rob Zombie, Evanescence, Michael Buble, Britney Spears, Godsmack, Flyleaf, Tori Amos, Prodigy, Matisyahu, Jewel, and Enya. Basically everything...

Movies:

I know this may sound cliche', but to put it simply, movies ARE my life. It is not only what I want to peruse as a career, but it is also my one, true passion in this life. Therefore, it is next to impossible for me to choose what my "favorite" movie is... The Phantom of the Opera, The Lord of the Rings, Transformers, Iron Man, The Blair Witch Project, 300, Phone Booth, Titanic, The Crow, Queen of the Damned, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Underworld, Interview with the Vampire, Erin Brockovich, The Little Mermaid, The Grudge, Harry Potter, Signs, and The Wedding Crashers.

Books:

I love books, and I suppose the reason why is that storytelling is a huge part of my life. As a filmmaker, I look to writing and reading for inspiration and motivation. I love to get my hands on a good book... Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights, Lord of the Rings, and Phantom. I also enjoy reading Zen, meditation, and Martial Arts related books.
