Influences: Durum frites POWER!!! :DBrussels-based Aphone has done it all. Graduated as a comedian and working for a theatre company he started inhaling vibes that led him towards more musical ways of artistic expression. Over being lead-singer in a Ska-reggae band (SmallBurnz) and music producing influenced by reggae and the likes of Amon Tobin, Portishead, Autechre and Nightmare on wax he has been finetuning his skillz for six years now. Collaborations with other producers from Electrobel (the leading Belgian community for underground electronic music) gave him a large input of extra experience. He pretends making his tracks the way he feels it coming to his head.
He played at noteworthy festivals as the WARP Label Night (support act) and Langweiligkeit festival at Den Haag (the Netherlands). After multiple lives at several bars and small venues in his hometown and a track on the Electrobel Triphop Compilation he is now ready to make the next step. Supported by his renowned fellow drumnbass producer Mik he yet got a lot of live credibility as a drumnbass MC as well.Be sure to check out his Myspace or Electrobel page cuz' he's the guy to fire up your festival or party.
