Short facts
Since 1986/1987 Dennis vandenBerg (keyboards/ synthesizer)played with Johnny Baby,who released three albums in that time.
In 1989 the band had a hit called "Running around in circles" and built up a respectable name in the Netherlands.
The first two albums were released by Virgin Records. In that time they played with bands like Third World, I-Jahman Levi, supported the Wailers in Holland and did some gigs with UB40.
Jurrien(drums), played German flute starting on a young age and was drummer and co-founder of the rootsreggaeband NewBornCreation from 1994 until 1999.This band brought progressive roots reggae music with a powerful statement and a spiritual message. During that period they were able to explore their musical talents and spread their message all over Europe. (Holland, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia etc) As New Born Creation they released two albums: LIVE-"Small club in the heart of babylon" (1998) and "Power Reggae part 1 - Love Not War" (2002). Various tracks were also featured on compilation albums.
Now for the last view years,they building up a studio in the Netherlands.
Born in Utrecht, the Netherlands, the two brothers Van den Berg belong to one of the most inspired musicians of the Netherlands.
Both supported a lot of reggae bands and played with artists like Johnny Baby, Five for Vibes, New Born Creation and a few more. Dennis learned to play piano on a young age (mostly classic) and felt interested in playing different music styles while he grew up. His brother played German flute for a couple of years and still do.
"One day somebody came to our house with the LP "Uprising" from Bob Marley and the Wailers. That was the first time that we listened to reggae and that we heard the sound of Marley. From that day on we stucked to the reggae."
Dennis studied for sound engineer at the Sound Academie in Hilversum.
