Alot have you have been emailing the site, asking Dylan questions. So I thought why not sit down with him and find out some more about this great artist Dylan Judah...Here's how it went.
Questions asked by Ken Greenberg
KG: So when were you born, how old are you?
DJ: 'laughing" that's what you're asking? Uhh timeless man, you know Rasta from creation. I was Born on July 4th.
KG: OK so why did you choose reggae music?
DJ: I didn't really choose reggae, it found me. Just chillin in Jamaica influenced by my friends an family just a natural thing really. The message really touched me.
KG: How is it working with veterans like Scientist and Santa?
DJ: It was a dream come true truthfully, like alot of people don't get that opportunity. Scientist has done so much. He even mixed the original rhythm of Damian Marley's "welcome to Jamrock"
KG: Whats that you're wearing today?
DJ: A Ethiopian World Peace Foundation shirt, Karl from Jah Lambs an Lions gave it to me.Have to big up Marv at I-Path to...I got the Hemp shoes on right now.
KG:I heard down at Dub Club that your new video went top 20 in Jamaica hows that feel?
DJ: Feels great..it was actually the Black Judah video, my groups. My partner Sugar Black called me from Kingston said the videos getting alot of love on the Cable channels, Hype TV & da national channels.
KG: What do you like to do to unwind?
DJ: Walking in the hills...swimming in the river or ocean, listen to music. Tea I like to drink herbal tea alot 'laughing'
KG: I see you have lots of fans, how do you deal with the groupies?
DJ: Groupies?, I don't really see people who enjoy my music as groupies, just cool brothers and sisters.
KG:What projects you working on right now?
DJ: Just finishing up he Black Judah CD and working with my company to get out the Scientist/Dylan Judah dub. Man that one is wicked!! Scientist takes it to a whole nother level 360 degrees and every 'ting. The Black Judah CD is real nice, dancehall flavor you know? check it out, blackjudah.com
KG: O.K. I will, so which artist have you been vibing with lately?
DJ: You mean listening to? Um, Memphis soul like William Bell, Al Green. Also my old reggae John Holt, Ethiopians lots of reggae, and dancehall

DJ:Yea sure if we're on the bill 'laughs', my manager has been talking to Moss Jacobs so you know if we're in I'll try an hook you up
Dylan Judah formed Cannons, (1997-2003), one of the West Coast's most skillful and heartfelt reggae bands.
