Jamesaholic - I am not an alcoholic.. Alcoholics go to meetings!

About Me

Mmmm.. about me. I started this space because of my friend Joker who setup one and sent me this site. Then later I found I was perhaps one of the 5% of the Earth's populatuion to NOT yet have my own MySpace. Everyone is on here. Now I owe him one revenge style because I think I need to join MySpace Anonymous.. takes up a lot of my free time. lolThat Tom guy who created this must be making BAGS of money lol (Check this pic of Tom)

Anyway, I initially had nothing I really needed to put up and thought I would be sent in for psychiatric evaluation if anyone read my thoughts and rantings however I think I will be safe for now since I ended up meeting other crazy people along the way with similiar passions/sicknesses.

Can't think of anything else right now but must add this parental advisory.

My Interests

Outdoor activities, parties, fun people, music, travelling, Motorbike riding - dirt and sports bikes.. scuba diving, jogging, hiking, drinking... a lot of the *ing things... did I mention motorbikes?

This is a pic of my Yamaha R1 (2003 model) in a corner North of Sydney in Australia. The photo sequence was taken by a friend of mine and fellow rider Richard who uses a Cannon 350D with a lens that was about a foot long. I understand it takes 5 or something photos per second and has excellent buffering technologies.

This is another hot link to another animated photo of a different corner

I am not usually a motorcycle brand separatist, meaning I have ridden and owned all manner of make and model of bikes. However, I do have a special place for Yamaha's R1 range. The asthetics and build of these bikes always have them at the top, even with all the other magnificent bikes out there. That said, any of the modern bikes are excellent performers and I would be happy with any one of them.. yes, even a Honda. lol

Here is a shameless plug for Altiris' SVS (Software Virtualisation) solution. It has revolutionized the way we manage our software and computers... especially fixing faults. Check out the below link to see what I mean. It's FREE for personal use.

Oh yeah, I also wanted to add martial arts as it was a huge part of my life but I haven't trained in nearly a decade now. I really recommend the freestyles after some more traditional styles and even moving around to try them all out to broaden your experience. There are martial art seperatists like the bike seperatists which is really hampering to your exeriences and training. I studied a variety of styles since I was 8 or 9 starting with Moss Hollis who got me started on freestyle arts in Adelaide. We used to do everything from Thai Boxing to Western boxing, Judo, Jujitsu etc. From there I delved into Korean styles and more Japanese and then back to Thai.
I was probably stronger in the Japanese styles as this was where a majority of my training was held like Aikido

I'd like to meet:

Loads but I can't think of them all now.. but to start with I would probably start with Heather Locklear, Carla Gugino, Angelina Jolie, Jeri Ryan.. there are too many to list and not necessarily in that order either. Yep, I am that shallow. *smirk* I am a guy so what would you expect.

Seriously, add in most of the MotoGP and World Superbike heroes of the past and present like Wayne Gardner, Valentino Rossi, Mick Doohan, Wayne Rainey, Kevin Swanz, Troy Corser and Troy Baylis. There are more but too many to list here.
