About Me
BOOGIE B
*MUZIK*
Brandon "Boogie B" Pacheco is a new force in House Muzik. This young man has been infatuated with music, since a young age. In his earlly age he grew to love all forms of music. Rock N Roll to Rancheras, he was blessed with an eclectic musical upbringing.
In his teenage years Brandon was introduced to the club/rave scene. In the first couple of experiences he was not into much electronic music. The clubs were into alot of acid house and techno. The year was 96, and he had gotten into the club scene and also into the club music. His personal favorite had gone from Hip-Hop to House.
As time had gone by, the underground rave scene was starting to thrive in Colorado. Underground parties that would happen in just about any place you could throw a big ol hoot'n'nanny; warehouses, barns, airplane hangars, even an old church gym. He was not taken into it all very easily. It grew into his liking and soon he could not stop.
In 1999 He graduated from school and had been fully submerged into the lifestyle of electronic/club/rave scene. His electronic taste had gained a larger scale of liking. Trance, Drum N Bass, Breaks, UK Garage, and TRIBAL, had made way into his ear. There was no turning back. This was a calling.
In 2000 Boogie started to learn some skills on turntables via friends he had made who were local Djs. He had no equipment of his own and soon gained a set of tables and had to rid of them to help a bad financial situation he had gotten into. This left him somewhat saddened and he lost interest in the art of the Dj. He soon gained conficence again and started to get deeper into the house music he loved. His inspiration came from such Djs as; Steve Lawler, DJ Dan, Green Velvet, Deep Dish, John Digweed, Nick Warren, Danny Tenaglia, Sander Kleienberg, Sandra Collins, Aprodite, DJ Craze, George Acosta, Pete Tong, Kimball Collins, DJ Rectangle, Donald Gluade, Danny the Wildchild, Danny Howells, and many more.
As time went on Brandons fascination with electronic music grew more and more. He knew sooner or later he would need tables again. He started attending college for Master's degree in Psychology. Finincial aid and student loans soon aided in his quest for a set of new tables. He got some turntables, a mixer, and some records. His mission was set back on course. His style is different and mostly self taught. The set that Boogie brings can vary depending on his mood and those of the listeners. His style can range from deep melodic house, to hard acid breaks. He creates an atmosphere all itself told through the music of his set. His sets are compiled of deep driving beats, that build up into a frenzy with percussive elements. His first mix Incognito Electro Ho grew in popularity fast on Myspace. Soon he released Down the Foxxhole, Digital Degenerate, All Spun Out, Dark N Dirty, and His newest mix, Digital Drumz.
In 2005 Boogie decided to take a try at some production and remix work. He started to make his own beats and songs. His production style is non traditional. He has a sound that is distinct and very percussive. Following in the likes of Danny Tenaglia, Steve Lawler, and Peter Rauhofer, his music takes on a darker, deeper, drummy side of house. His first song was entitled Good Stuff. Myspace fans loved the track and Boogie was inspired to try another. Groove Junkee soon came and took Boogie on a nice ride into real House music. Snakebite follwed, a hard dark tribal house song with rattle snake shakes over the pulsating bongo beats. The track was downloaded and added to Myspace users pages daily. Soon remixes came, Kelis, Cassie, Justin Timberlake.... just to name a few. He gained an audience that grew from local to overseas. Soon he was getting listeners requesting more production and remixes.
Now in 2007 Boogie has plans for radio spots, residencies, and also more production and remixing for artists. Boogie made a breakthrough remix for a Gay Rap Artist, BIGG NUGG. The song is titled BPA'07' (Boogies Bear N Bass Mix), Boogie took a hip hop song and turned it into a Drum N Bass Bear Anthem. Boogie also scored points on his tribal house banger "Chango Congo" fusing congos and deep samba beats to shake it to. His remix of Chris Isaak's " I dont wanna fall in love" gained much support from his fans as well. As time keeps going forward, his passion for the music will not end. The world needs to open its arms and welcome; BOOGIE B MUZIK~.
