"The end of the 70's, and everything starts from the love for black music. Black is the sound and the vibration that he spins on the decks; Black is the music that influenced him, that he explored and deepened during his first 20 years of career. Maurizio Gubellini has experienced the change, the evolution of the house music played around the Italian house clubs and instead of moving away from it, he actually became one of the first Italian djs that supported the music evolution.
Today his sound is definately house music, ranging from electro house progressive to soulful without forgetting classic house tracks. His dj sets are eclectic, always different and they cannot last less than 2 hours. When he gets on the decks Maurizio has just one guide: his personal taste through which he always manages to fill up the dancefloors.

Gube is one of the few Italian djs that was invited in April 2005 to play at the SLAVA CLUB in Moscow (recently forever closed) a four hours set in the temple of the 'house music' in which just few Top djs/producers managed to perform.
Gube played at WMC 2006 in Miami @ Funkshion Club and in 2007 @ Karu & Y with M.A.W. Has been also recently guest @ Xueno (Formentera) , Space (Mykonos) , Vanilla (Lugano - Switzerland) , Podium Club (Krasnoyarsk - Siberia), Neo Club (3 times) (Moscow), Bangaluu (Berlin - Germany), Colossos (Lloret de Mar - Spain), SpazioNero (Miami - Usa), XL club (Omsk - Siberia), HC (Salen - Sweden), Konrad (Vesteras - Sweden).
Gube (that’s the way his friends call him) defines himself a very determined and stubborn person and his motto is 'Where there is a will there is a way'. After 20 years of a bright career, he is still on the run. He started producing as well, and today he is the owner and A&R of a respected indipendent record label SPECTRA. In the summer 2005, he breaks in the European market with a big tune 'Moscow Trip' becoming an Ibiza and Mykonos anthem. Even SPACE CLUB in Mykonos wants it in their big summer compilation 2006.
