About Me
Capricious as a concept indicates whimsicality and impulse, and Capricious as publishing entity reflects its namesake in terms of creating cultural and artistic multi-media publications.
Capricious began as an international publication for emerging photographers, which is currently in production with issues six and seven, but is now moving towards being an independent publishing company.
Capricious Publishing now produces four journals, GLU, LTTR, Famous and Capricious, three special edition projects- Screen Capricious and VoodooEros CD that compliment Capricious #6, and a line of wearable items. Capricious Publishing is also in production with three art books, Melanie Bonajo, Love Your Uncle, and The Androgyny Project.
While each publication represents specific topics of interest and is created by different editors, all part of a larger collective of artists and intellects. Together they all reflect a sense of critical politics and offer larger connections of contemporary interests and possibilities.
Capricious #6- just can’t get enough! Guest edited by Caroline Niemant, featuring a Voodoo-EROS compilation CD, will be released on June 10th 2007!
