DURTY NANAs
Originally comprised of Tha Pumpsta, Sha Na Na Na (aka Derriere aka AKA aka Chaka Con Man) and Lil Rae Rae, the Durty Nanas toured 29 countries and won legions of adoring pop audiences with lines like Your mama so fat she made our mp3 skip. The triumphant success of their your mama joke afforded them the rare opportunity to befriend Da Wondaho, the reigning international your mama champion who was left no choice but to join the group. After a brief stint modeling for a 1990’s Benetton campaign, the Durty Nanas returned to music and recorded their smash hit "Rooty Tooty." With recently added Muslim keyboardist, Jeru the blind cleric, they are currently in the process of recording their debut album, tentatively titled The Chronicles of NAR NAR.
