Time tested... Cilantro, chamomile tea, Nutella, coffee ice cream, [I shouldn't do this while hungry], Vick's Vapor Rub, wool socks, jersey sheets, anything ON DEMAND, free WiFi, midnight movies, sexual tension, rum and coke, falling asleep instantly, waking cheerfully, Arizona Iced Tea, toothpaste, cinnamon gum, Cetaphil, Oatmeal soap, writing post cards, pepperoncinis, avocados, sitting cross-legged till one foot falls asleep [not 'good' i suppose, but it happens often], non-profit organizations, bleeding hearts, side splitting giggles, fumbling on a guitar hoping to "write" a song, trekking up to Washington Heights and then WAY back downtown to see as many friends as possible in a night, the hate/love relationship I have with my students, friendly UPS fellas, Chinese food delivery, electric staplers, text messages, University Deli, Harlem, KARAOKE!...
These fabulous folk again at our party!
Those who wax poetic.

Sonnet LXXXI
And now you're mine. Rest with your dream in my dream.
Love and pain and work should all sleep, now.
The night turns on its invisible wheels,
and you are pure beside me as a sleeping amber.
No one else, Love, will sleep in my dreams. You will go,
we will go together, over the waters of time.
No one else will travel through the shadows with me,
only you, evergreen, ever sun, ever moon.
Your hands have already opened their delicate fists
and let their soft drifting signs drop away; your eyes closed like two gray
wings, and I move
after, following the folding water you carry, that carries
me away. The night, the world, the wind spin out their destiny.
Without you, I am your dream, only that, and that is all.
Also, anyone willing to fund new theatre projects.

Oh, how I try... But I have little time and thus, POETRY has become my dear friend.
Samuel McChord Crothers Try as hard as we may for perfection, the net result of our labors is an amazing variety of imperfectness. We are surprised at our own versatility in being able to fail in so many different ways./fieldset
