Yellow Minute

In late 2006, Yellow Minute Project was concieved after singer / songwriter Sean Brennan returned from extensive traveling in Europe. With a pocket full of material, influenced far from home in the cultural melting pot that europe offers, Brennan enlisted friend musician Nick Ducot to play keys and guitars. Experimenting with various instruments and electronics, the songs started to grow through interesting currents of music. Already befriended with experimental Chicago band Skybox, the two musical units linked up in March for what would be Yellow Minute's first performance. Also, sitting in as a guest musician, Chelsey Nelson, violin player for then Tempe band My Sister in 1994, stepped in to play on the acoustic track "Keep Your Child Eyes". Later Sean and Chelsey became close friends, and now Chelsey has a major roll in the recording of the Yellow Minute E.P. to be released sometime in late 07, early 08. As Sean and Nick attended local shows in the valley of phoenix, they came across a new rising thunder called What Laura Says Thinks and Feels: "It was one of the most captivating, fun live bands I have seen in ages, not to downplay the fact that their songs could very well be timeless," said Brennan in a local interview. Instantly Nick and Sean befriended the guys in What Laura Says Thinks and Feels, which brought along the help of Mitch Freedom who will be recording Cello, Bass, and xylophone on the new E.P.There are two songs posted on the myspace that sound almost nothing like the material they are laying down in the studio as we speak.
