Darius is a singer/songwriter. Born in New Haven,CT., and later moved to NYC to continue his career in music. Starting a company called " Higher Entertainment " which specializes in background vocals, and putting background singers together for Recording Artists, Jingles, Award Ceremonies, etc.... He has worked with many well known artist, and has traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and Europe lending his vocals to such acts as: Joe ( Ladies Night Tour), Zhane (Maxwell Urban Hang Suite Tour), Don Henley, Marc Anthony, Cheryl ’Pepsii’ Riley, Cyndi Lauper, Sheila E., Aaron Hall (I Miss U Tour), Michelle Williams, Mike Phillips, El Debarge, Kim Burrell, George Michael (Cover Tour), Calvin Richardson (Country Boy Tour), Pattie Labelle (Grammy’s), Oxana Blue (former Miss Russia), Wolfgang Staribacher & The Mozart Band (classical/rock), Iyanla Vancant, Karen Clark-Sheard, Tramaine Hawkins, Alison Williams, Hezikiah Walker & LFC (Live in London), J.C. White & Youthful Praise, D.J. Rogers Jr., Black Coffee, Jimmy Cozier, Anthony Hamilton, Michael Bolton, Ryan Shaw (Columbia), Gordan Chambers/Ledisi, Ted & Sheri, Melonie Daniels, and CeCe Winans....just to name a few. His movie credits include: About Eve, and City Of Angels. He has recorded, and done vocal arrangements with: Jessica Simpson, Teddy Geiger (Sony), Lyfe Jennings (The Phoenix),Bianca Ryan (ABC’s America’s Got Talent Winner) De La Soul, Willie Nelson (latest album Songbird), Denise Rich, Rodney Jerkens & Darkchild (Hurricane Katrina Project), Cory Rooney (Rona Bennett), Just Blaze/Saigon, Malissa Hunter, Desiree Coleman, Hez (The Walker Group Inc.) & LFC, Queen Esther Marrow (Sundance Prod./B.B. Promotions), George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, and has worked on the long awaited projects of Melonie Daniels and Monique Walker.
