All the recordings for the album are complete and the new mixes are on their way. The 3 demos and 1 live song on this site are a glimpse into what will be our debut album.
On Feb. 1st, we took 1st at The Rave in the Finals for a battle of the bands!!! It was our 1st show together and it was crazy. "Light The Stage" started our set and it was a really good way to start that first show. The atmosphere was amazing... thank YOU! We have a video from that performance on youtube. Conniption was created in the fall of 2005 by Andy Martin and Mike Brigham. After playing and partying with a number of different guitarist and bassists, suddenly everything started to fall into place. Cody Dziuk has been with the band since September 2007. With his style of playing bass, he has brought Conniption to a new level. Bill House joined the band as the lead guitarist in December 2007. Bill's style and passion will knock you on your ass. With the line-up set in place by the grace of God, it was clear the time had come to record the album..."Successor to the Throne"...which is now finished with all recordings and the mixes are on the way. Real 2 Reel Recording Studio will have production finished shortly, we hope. We expect to have the album released sometime before "Chinese Democracy" comes out...
Conniption plays a style that will take you through the rollercoaster of emotion. If you have seen us live, you've been there. For the rest of you, with a little luck, we hope to see you soon.
