Started as a project in August of 2008 by founding members Doug Dobert and Nick Gouin, Apophis was formed out of the ashes of many Milwaukee area bands. Other music projects members have been in include (but are not limited to) Typhon, I built you First, The beholder, Chrodh Mara, Necrotic Degradation and Fallen Divinity. With a focus on development and self improvement, Apophis has a strong foundation centered around rhythm complexity and flow. Music was created with the intention to be confusing in a subtle manor as to not tear the groove factor from the big picture. After a long period of work and development, the sound has finally arrived and its time to stand behind it.
