About Me

just your regular unasuming guy, makin' it in the big city. i play alot of soccer, eat alot of sweets and pump alot of music into my head. i'm working on the most drawn out master's thesis ever (exaggeration), and learning the finer points of texas hold 'em. I collect live bootlegs and have taken up the hobby of recording them as well with seven in the record books so far.

Snap, can't leave out The Office, Arrested Development, Curb Your Enthusiasm or Kids in the Hall. Shit I guess I do catch quite a bit of the TV. Oh, and can't forget frontline (gotta keep up on the conspiracy theories). i'll never stop wearing vans and i'm addicted to traveling. and that's everything about me there is to know.

Album of the Week: Damien Rice - O

I vividly recall the first time I heard Damien Rice: I had been napping on the couch with the radio playing and awoke to "The Blower's Daughter" and "Cannonball" playing back-to-back on Nik Harcourt's...

Album of the Week: Juanes - Un Dia Normal

Despite my summaries of these albums becoming increasingly inarticulate I am commited to preaching the gospel of good music. So I press on. Recently Juanes released his fourth solo album, "La Vida...E...

Album of the Week: The Cardigans - Long Gone Before Daylight

Despite not having nearly as many hit singles, or albums, The Cardigans are not a far cry from ABBA as one of the greatest bands to come out of Sweden. Known most commonly by their late 90's hit Lovef...

Album of the Week: Possum Dixon - Star Maps

Having not updated my page in a long while this has been the "album of the weeks". Possum Dixon is a greatly underappreciated band from the 90's that made three major label albums and called it a day....

Album of the Week: Pulp - This Is Hardcore

I'm not a huge fan of Pulp (this is the only album of theirs I have). The Pulp fans say though that This Is Hardcore was the beginning of the end for them. The album to follow this one was not well r...
