Hey everybody I am Heather, I am 26, and I have been singing since I was a very young child.I was fortunate enough to be involved with the James Morely Band, right out of High School, for about 5 years. We played Classic Rock, Country, Blues, Top 40 kinda stuff in local bars, weddings, charity events, ect.. I was blessed to play with them regularly for a handful of years, and still do on occasion. The second band I got involved with was Plaid Iguana Project. This band was a jam style, funky, classic rock, blues kinda band. My time with them was very short lived, seeing as the band fizzled out only few months after I joined. But I did get to sing at The State Theater in VA!Ever since I have been singing on occasion with James Morley Band, for private events. I have also sat in with one of my best friends Amy Martinez at some of her acoustic shows... I have really enjoyed that. And every now and again, while I am out seeing live music... I get asked to come up and sit in for a song or two.The music that you are hearing was written by a songwriter, named Mitch Carr, who hired me to sing them. This project was his baby. I am fortunate to have worked with him, and everyone else involved in the production, and to come away with a printed CD, and recording of myself!I have also just added the third song, "Oh You", which I recorded with the James Morley Band around the age of 19. Wow, it's funny to hear how a voice changes, through experience. Well there you have it... those three songs are my studio resume! HA HA HA!! The rest of my time has been singing live...hopefully I will be able to upload a video of a vintage Heather Hopkins gig! :-D Stay tuned...Hope you enjoy what you see and hear! I hope to do more recording in the future, of songs that I choose, and maybe a full length cd! I am open to new musical ventures, and collaborations...so feel free to conact me!*~*Peace And Blessings To You All*~*
