About Me

PARIS HURLEY ...has been playing the violin in a multitude of orchestras, chamber ensembles, and bands for the last 18 years. Her wide variety of experience extends from her Carnegie Hall debut at the age of fifteen, to her mastery of new music and love of improvisation making her one of the most sought after violinists of the Northwest. She has recorded for many projects, including the latest albums of Degenerate Art Ensemble, Moonpenny Opera, Circus Contraption, Trespassers William, and Aqueduct. Paris recently acquired her Bachelor of Music degree from Cornish College and can be seen performing with Degenerate Art Ensemble, Moonpenny Opera, Johanna Kunin, and Luminaries.DEGENERATE ART ENSEMBLE: A performance company that through hyper-experimental music and dance transforms traditional genres into multi-dimensional explosive and expressive works. This hard-edged, delicate and complex visual music and dance performance company has earned rave reviews throughout the US and Europe.
