Peace is something that will happen when each of us makes a commitment to live it in our personal lives. Love yourself, stop judging yourself, accept everything you are with open arms. Love the people around you and act peacably in your relationships; make space for one another's needs and differences. Read this: Human Becoming .
Did you know that in Chinese, they use the same character for "Thank You" and "I'm Sorry"? Your wound is your blessing. Your pain, your greatest gift. Ask me about it, if you like.
“If a union is to take place between opposites like spirit and matter, conscious and unconscious, bright and dark, and so on, it will happen in a third thing, which represents not a compromise but something new.”
-Carl Jung
I sing. This song playing on my profile is one of my favorite compositions. I especially love this one because Captain Gravel played it with me and Pam and Mary sang it with me. I hope you enjoy it. I hope it lifts you up! Listen to more of my songs at trinawillard.com. Buy my album at CD Baby or iTunes.
I love life- all of it- even the parts that get called ugly, painful, messy, and tragic. I practice a constant prayer of gratitude and love. I feel deeply content and blissfully happy when I'm really doing my work. This practice of mine, when I'm really on it, grounds me and focuses my eyes on the beauty of every moment and I cry because I'm overwhelmed by awe and love and emptiness. But sometimes I'm a hyper active freak and I bounce off the walls and run off at the mouth and say horribly vulgar things in mixed company. Oh yes, I keep mixed company...
"I want to be champion of evening, to forget not the beauty of the in-betweens."
-Deb Talon
I want a world where people are safe and their needs are met and their differences are respected and embraced and celebrated. Doesn't that sound nice? Let's make it so!
"Our Being is Becoming, not stasis. Our Science is Utopia, our Reality is Eros, our Desire is Revolution."
-Murray Bookchin
