BoneBreaker Simpson - Tha Futuristic Throwback

About Me

As a lyrical veteran with over ten years of service, BoneBreaker has seen the Dirty South hip hop scene grow and flourish beginning his career as a soloist, later joining southern supergroup Phasnick, then co-founding the NME Alliance. Following the successful late 90s release of its Phasnick Presents compact disk, Phasnick (with co-lead Emcee BoneBreaker) kept its name alive in the streets by showing up on numerous underground releases. This was part strategy, part necessity, as the group worked diligently to find and win its niche of fans during the lean times.
"Hey, we did not and still do not have much money to spend", admits BoneBreaker, "but we put in all we can without starving our families. We spend time, we spend sweat, and we sweat blood!" Thats love.
The bloody sweat invested so far has paid off with huge opportunities. Throughout the 1990s, Phasnick rocked enough stages to win over talent reps who booked artists to perform at sponsored festivals all over the Southeast. As a member of Phasnick, BoneBreaker went on to perform on bigger and bigger stages with the likes of Mystikal, MJG, Immature, the Luniz, Smooth, Pastor Troy, and Busta Rhymes.
Phasnick began the 21st century by test marketing a full-length CD entitled Five Mic Experience, and the group put together a promo-tour with the same name to support the release. The CDs sales performance and shows impact on the market was closely studied by a newly formed, focused team the NME Alliance (a collective of the southeast's premier Emcees and producers). Enriched by the lessons learned from the FME release, and the backing of the NME Alliance, BoneBreaker is set to release his first full-length solo CD, AlaGa, in 2008.
The release strategy is simple: Prepare the BEST full-length CD ever produced, release promotional copies of Get Me Me (the lead single from AlaGa) in a chosen market, support the release with promotional appearances, then expand the market area. Finally, BoneBreaker will release AlaGa and tour the entire expanded market area with a show he has named Unsettling!
When asked to categorize his unique style, BoneBreaker could not. When asked to try, he said he would not. All he offers is a bit of advice to those who would try to stop him: They should not!
Well thats BoneBreaker for you.
"You know what, I dont want to be categorized; I DONT WANT TO FIT IN!"
