For as long as he could remember, music has always been a part of Sharif's life. Born Sharif Thompson, Rifah Smokes started his musical career as a member of the world famous Harlem Boys Choir. For four years he performed as a soprano in the prestigious choir. Later he attended Morrisville University for Electrical Engineering, but his passion for music continued to manifest. After two years, Sharif left Morrisville University to pursue a career in music.Rifah Smokes, now a member of AWGIU Entertainment, an independent management company is currently in the studio recording songs for his album. His influences range fro R&B to Reggae to Gospel and Hip Hop. As a singer/rapper, Rifah's album debut is eagerly anticipated
