bottom div DJ ILLMATIC is respected as one of the hottest up-and-coming mixtape dj's & producers in Hip Hop.

This 23 year old was introduced to the hip hop at a young age and picked up the turntables when he was 12. He started as a turntablist and progressed into more of a "mix" dj, invading clubs, house parties, fraternities, sororities and high schools in Central New York for years. Not limiting himself to NY state, ILLMATIC has also spun in Erie, PA and Pittsburgh, PA.

DJ ILLMATIC is most well known for his mix cd's that blend exclusive commercial hip hop with unsigned talent and also features tracks that are produced and/or remixed by him. He has been featured as DJ OF THE MONTH on many sites, most notably www.infinitegraf.com

However, ILLMATIC has not limited himself to just DJ'ing, he has also branched out into Production & Audio Engineering. Production wise, he has worked with MANY artists.. most notably Stat Quo of Shady/Aftermath, Angelous of K-Class music, Buck of M. Dot, J-Holla of BRE, Ave Mack of the Empire Kings. The remix he produced for Shady/Aftermaths' Stat Quo called "PROBLEMS" became an underground favorite, reaching CUTMASTER C'S "Welcome To The South" mixtape, Sirius/XM Radio, Music Choice on TV, and well over 50,000 listens from his soundclick website. ILLMATIC has also caught the attention of many music industry A&R's with his production and plans on leaving a HUGE IMPACT on the industry with his tracks!

In 2004, DJ ILLMATIC packed his bags and moved to Erie, PA and begun work as an Audio Engineer for DJ NITRO at BREAKTHROUGH STUDIOS. Working at BREAKTHROUGH STUDIO and M DOT STUDIO in PA taught ILLMATIC much about the recording industry and has fueled his grind since he returned to New York.

Nearing 2007, ILLMATIC continues his path to greatness.. providing production, engineering, promotion and A&R consultation for the hottest up-and-coming artists from the United States and abroad. He currently pledges allegiance to THE BAKERY but boasts many other crew affiliations.
