With the powerhouse vocals of Suzanne Vick and the mighty "Mayhem Horns" the funk just can’t be denied! With bass so funky you can taste it and a backbeat you can live on, along with soulful keys and soaring guitar, Mayhem will always
leave you wanting more.
Playing a great selection of funky cover tunes and solid original compositions the bands shows are continually evolving. With new twists to old favorites
and an expanding catalogue of original songs the band trys to bring a fresh vibe to all it’s shows.
Winners of "Best Funk Band" in Fairfield County Weekly’s 2007 Grand Band Slam Electric Mayhem has shared the stage with George Clinton & P-Funk, The Jerry Garcia Band, The Wailers, The Allman Bros. Band, Tower of Power, Maceo Parker, Jen Durkin, Galactica, Moe, Deep Fried, The Bomb Squad, The Breakfast, Shakedown and many others.
The band has played venues such as The Gathering of the Vibes, The Dodge Music Center, Toads Place, The Webster Theater, Captains Cove, Black Rock Day Festival, The Secret Forest Festival, The Grand Band Slam, Spinstock and your favorite local bars such as Daniel Street, The Main Pub, Jimmys Seaside, The Monkey Bar, Oxford Ale House, Martinis, City Ale House, The Lodge, and Porters Tap Room; among others.
