About Me
Feel Theory are no strangers to the New England music scene. They have played shows throughout Ct, NY, Maine, Washington D.C.,etc. and opening for national acts (i.e. Blues Traveler, Gov't Mule, Galactic, The John Scofield Band, Deep Banana Blackout, Addison Groove Project,The Breakfast, Better than Ezra, and Jen Durkin) both collectively and individually.
Originally forming in 2003, Chris Cavaliere joined a pre-existing group with D’Errico and Mancini. Shortly after that band broke up, D’Errico and Mancini began a side project with Colavolpe. Asking Chris to join in one day for a jam was the turning point and would form what was soon to be known as Feel Theory.
Feel Theory split up after 2 years when Colavolpe moved out of state but fortunately returned in late 2004. Feel Theory dusted off the cobwebs and began booking shows, working on new material and planning for the future.
Strong, catchy lyrics: melodic and intricate guitar playing; and deep grooves set the foundation. Their eclectic mix has helped mold their sound into an ever changing, growing, yet always enjoyable, treat for the ears.
With the listener in mind, Feel Theory's ultimate goal is to put a smile on your face.~~~~~ “What can I tell you about Feel Theory – They are an underrated, fairly unknown, local, sometimes self-destructive progressive rock/fusion/jazz band. But when I received a copy of their CD – it stayed in the CD player for months and months. I listened non-stop to these music visionaries.†– Rich Franzino (The Acoustic Café)
