About Me

I grew up with my Grandparents who moved from their Apache homeland of San Carlos, Arizona to Bakersfield, California. Grandpa was a cowboy and followed range work from different ranches across the southwest until he took a bad fall and ended up a field hand. I was just a young boy when grandpa was hurt and in those times I dearly wanted to be with them. I stayed to help out where I could and began to learn the ways of my people and the ways of the horse. Though we were misplaced from our original homelands and everyone thought we were Mexican, in our small home we kept the traditional life of the Pueblo and Apache people. I have no regrets for I am a child of this earth. We are all one and this earth is eventually where we will go back to. ~ Johnny WhitehorseTo listen to some more of my music visit www.johnnywhitehorse.com OR To purchase a CD/Cassette visit www.silverwave.comThis profile was edited with Thomas' myspace editor™ V2.5
