About Me

Deprivation are a 5 piece Metal band hailing from Orange in the central west of New South Wales. They formed in early 2006 to enter a regional battle of the bands and powered through to come 3rd out of 45 bands.
Since then they have gone through a few line-up changes, become regulars on the Sydney Metal circuit and shared the stage with bands such as Lynchmada, The Hollow Cell, Inane Eminence, Daysend, Our Last Enemy, Celebrity Morgue, Frenzal Rhomb, Karnivool and 1 Shot Kill.
2008 looks to be a big year for the boys with several shows already booked and some time in the studio to record their first E.P. in early April.
The raw energy of their live shows is not to be missed and the banging of heads is infectious.
You've got to bleed, you've got to want it, this is Deprivation.
