Music, art, manga/anime, literature, gaming, languages, and... ah don't get me started on this the list will get too long. I'm always having to delete stuff off my LJ list to make room for something else.
All five members of Dir en grey. (Too much to ask?) And Yoshiki - again. Met him at Otakon but it was brief. Pata and Heath, who are terribly underrated. And of course hide, I hope to see him in whatever afterlife there is and hug him like a long-lost brother until he pries himself away. =p I would love to meet Wu Jian Hao aka VanNess Wu, that would be pretty damn sweet. Sugizo is an amazing person, I would love to bask in his presence for even a few minutes. Miyavi would be super fun. Onitsuka Chihiro, because she is awesome beyond words. Brian May, because he was the inspiration for me to first learn guitar, plus he's just a beautiful human being. Boa, so I can thank her for being a good role model for young girls, unlike most pop idols. Would also like another chance to speak with the Fair to Midland guys, because I have more to ask them now. On the less fun side, I might like to meet George W. Bush one day, just so I can ask dude, wtf?
Styles
Mostly Jrock, progrock, JKCpop. Also darkwave, classical, world, jazz fusion, ambient, techno.
Artists
Queen & X Japan were my first loves, and I will love them always.
Dir en grey came soon after. My absolute favourite band and own my soul forever.
Within Temptation = favourite european band.
Fair to Midland = favourite american band by far. Thanks Dir en grey for helping me discover them.
Vanness Wu makes me love anything he does, even when I normally wouldn't. (Like hiphop type stuff, good lord) This just proves how awesome he is.
Onitsuka Chihiro is one of my favourite female vocalists, and someone I respect immensely. Still trying to train myself to get through one of her songs without crying.
Boa is another favourite female vocalist, and also a beautiful person. I want to hug her until her eyes pop out.
(Everybody say "Awww")
Too many to list, I need to buy a bigger house to have room for more bookshelves. But Ichi Rittoru no Namida, aka 1 Litre of Tears by Kito Aya literally changed my life. I know, cliche but it's true.
