Born in 1965 in Chiba, Japanã€Toshi used to be the vocalist of a popular rock band, X JAPAN. After leaving the band, he released the album "Beautiful Love Song" in '98 and started a new career as an individual singer to heal the hearts. He went on a tour called "Utatabi" (Traveling concerts) in '99 to give more than 2,500 concerts in various places all over Japan. Since 2001, he has also held charitable concerts at facilities such as homes for the old and the handicapped, in prisons, reformatories, hospices and similar institutions, which number over 6,000 altogether by now. His extraoridinary beautiful voice, lyrics and melodies have awakened the truth of hearts in the audiences. With a representative album released in '04 - "If the world is one--Dissapearing into oneness" - he has been singing of his great wish for the one world and true peace.
