Miyavi Biography:
Miyavi is a Japanese Celebrity Rock Artist who is recognized as one of the top guitar player who has the unique rhythmic style in Japan.
Miyavi started his professional career in 1998 at the age of 17 as lead guitar player of his group with their own individual label.
After signing with Universal Music as a solo artist in 2003, He released 5 albums and 15 singles so far.
Miyavi has the unique rhythmic style called　"Visual-Rock" also called as "Kabuki-Rock".
His unique style causes him to having huge amount of enthusiastic fans all over Asia.
In Miyavi..s career as a solo guitar player in indies, he had the first Live at SHIBUYA KOKAIDO、the second Live at HIBIYA YAGAI ONGAKUDO------Asia TOUR 「日本脱出-Escaping from Japan-」--In Korea and Taiwan--、FC event in TOKYO DOME、and the FINAL Indies Live at NIPPON BUDOKAN.. etc. After his legendary Indies time、Miyavi debut from major in October.2004 with hit single「ロックの逆襲-Rock no gyakushu-」ORICON HIT CHART No.10.
At the end of the week of his Debut, he had a success on the Single releasing Event in SHIBUYA with full of his 2000 Fans called komiyavi. On the releasing date of second single「Freedom Fighters」--ORICON HIT CHART No.10--,
He had unprecedented guerilla live performance.
He attracts the people in a music industry..s attention with not as just an artist but an artist has very unique and eccentric world of his own. On the first major album【雅-miyavizm-主義】, released in June 2004, his major debut year, he played all instrument on his own even programming and sequences.
Making the album this way which he call“宅(taku)-ROCK” as a HOME MADE ROCK .
In his lyric, you find lots of humorous words and un-expecting shocking words.
With those lyrics take the KOMIYAVI into his world.
Calling that world　a“Neo -Visualism”、he started his second tour in TAIWAN, and showed his “V-ROCK” style to KOMIYAVI as an guitarist who can sing and dance in entertainment rock show in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, at arena scale venues.
In last October, the 3rd maxi single「結婚式の唄(kekkon-shiki-no-uta)--Are you ready to ROCK?」released--ORICON　HIT CHART No.6--the song written for his friend who were getting marry with Miyavi..s straight feelings and melody on acoustic guitar sound.
And now,　Miyavi trying hard to　improve his skills for his music and to become a solo probationer from a sing along, dance along guitarist.

“What does solo guiter player do without playing a music himself ?!”
This is the beginning of all….
For some reason, it began emotionally almost like with an anger.
--ＭＹＶ★ＲＯＣＫＳ--the second stage----is ended with "I can play a music with the original SOLO style=”Dokusou” anywhere anyplace in the world” as its motto--if my GIGPIG go through customs….),….What? That..s it?
with the sad line on the back ground、　We introduce you about the “Dokusou” and　the last classified weapon“GIGPIG”.
What..s the “ Dokusou” at first.　As the word says this is about self playing.
The word itself fits to piano players or a blues man, (*practically, Miyavi has inspired by many blues man.)
But Miyavi, He does not only play the rhythm and accompany but also sing a song all by himself.
You already know Miyavi goes around the cities in JAPAN with the grooves of R&B or country music into his music style.
However miyavi was deeply impressed by this street performer in L.A when he was there for the dance lessens due to success on ＭＹＶ☆ＲＯＣＫＳ--the first stage--Neo Visualism. This blues street performer was playing a guitar with a tambourine sticked on his feet.
There is a Reason for Miyavi was impressed so much. He was been desiring to feel the sound more close to himself but on the other hand, he was been strugling to find how even though there was a choice to make for his desire by taking a rhythm with a tambourine.
The kindly smiling man stands front of Miyavi was just sticking his tambourine on his shoe! It..s a Free Country. That man was not the Statue of Liberty but the man of Liberty!
Then Miyavi was back in JAPAN and had to take a dance lesson, rehearse for a tour and record an album day and night for the dancing rock project which was already in progress and his second tour. Miyavi could not start to play a tambourine on a trial basis.
Miyavi was start to losing interest on the passionate feelings for the “Dokusou” and the dazzling conceptions. Days had goes by... Again, he had an occasion to play an acoustic guitar at his friends wedding party. With that occasion he started rethinking about the style of the “Dokusou”.
He name his new style as ＭＹＶ☆ＲＯＣＫＳ--the second stage--Acoustic Rock and shut himself up in a studio (…. Of course with a stickers.).But he came up with some problems like tambourine in usual are hard to beat time in the music itself.
However Miyavi was beating time by stumping his feet with a tambourine stuck on at first. He did not assent to this way which does not express powerful sound of the beat not even during recording process or of cause in LIVE performance. There were almost no way out from repeating trial and error. Finally one stuff brought a great news about something what Miyavi needed. That..s “GIGPIG”.
As soon as he touch that TOY, he started to jam session in a booth. The powerful vibe made with this unknown instrumental was creating an originality and great inspiration comes out from himself. Miyavi playing “GIGPIG” was seem a baby playing a toy…
