In 1994 we started to actually play as a band. We were called REMEMBERANCE. Mark just started learning the drums, Brad was finishing guitar lessons. A friend of the band brought Matt over to check out the band. David had already had private lessons, as they starting to write their first of few albums. They recorded their first album as David recorded the drums, Matt bass, and Brad guitars. Both Brad and David recorded vocals. After that session, we got together to practice and being that Mark was self taught, he came in and blew us away with what he had learned in such a short time.
In 1995 to 96 we started mesh together as a band and build our catalog of music, as we had are first name change DISINTERMENT. We were also asked to come play at the Lake Stevens AquaFest in the '95 Battle of the Bands..
In 1997 we finally had the nerve to record our first true self titled EP which you can purchase at http://www.blastbeats.com and started playing with other local christian bands at churches by the end of that year. .
In 1998 Brad decided to leave and pursue college. David met Chris at the church he was attending. Chris hopped on board as they started to gig more. In June, after the last gig, Mark decided to pursue a death metal project, that Brad had he started up. Disinterment DIED! Matt David and Chris met up with Rich to start Global Warning! Later that year David Chris and Matt left. David and Matt led worship at church, as Chris was getting ready to enlist in the army!.
1999 -early 2001 silence.
2001-05 God started to rekindle the flame of music in Mark and David as they came together and started to rewrite most of all that was written. And with the new name change IFBUTFORONE they have been set apart on a new journey to lead all generations to the Lord through the music that has been given unto them. With the loss of David's brother in 03, he started writing more heart felt music. With the end of 05 nearing, and 06 just around the corner, there is a new promise in their hearts knowing that someday, one may be saved!.
2006 We finishing the first album we have made since the Disinterment album in '97, and it has been a long road! We called Chuck Smith come in and lay down all the lead guitar work, Brad Kennaugh to come and add some vocals and help with the final mix. Derek the frontman of Sympathy mastered tech of FearDark Records did all the mastering of the tracks..
2007 We are getting all the cd artwork done by Rexorcist. As you can see the image of the new logo, and the artwork is in the pics under 2007! Thanks Rex! It has been a wild ride and we are looking at all the material we have trying to figure out what might be on the next album..
