Let me introduce myself. Many people know me as G-SPOTT, I was born on April 5, 1976. My parents didn't call me G-SPOTT but Richard van Schooneveld.
Ever since a young age I have been busy making music. I play the piano since a very young age and my musical youth has given me a great basis for my current job.
I'm a producer of house- and clubmusic and I also perform as a DJ. My goal is to produce innovating music. Music which can also be described as "the sound of the future". My performances are very succesful. After preparing for a long time I did my first performance back in 1997, when I was only 21 years old, under my alias of G-SPOTT.
After travelling the world for many years with my live performance I started playing as a DJ from February 2003. The reason for this switch was that I felt I could do more with a performance then just playing my own music.
You can find me everywhere nowadays. I play small venues because I really enjoy being in touch with my audience. A couple of times a year however I can also be found at the big festivals and parties because obviously it's also fantastic to move a large crowd.
My latest release under the G-SPOTT alias is "City Streets" which has done very well in many territories. Also my previous records like "NRG", "Louder" and "No Comment" all did very well abroad and all had really great and special video's.
The fact that I have been nominated twice now for a TMF Award shows me that the public can really appreciate what I'm doing.
