I was born on a sunny day in November of 1976. Born in Manhattan, and raised in the suburbs of Queens, NYC. For as long as I can remember, music has always been a big part of my life. Growing up in the 80's I was exposed to so many different genres of music, ranging from pop to rock to soul. It wasn't until the mid 1980's that I started getting into some of the earlier rap music from such artists as RUN DMC, and LL COOL J. Once I entered junior high school at the beginning of the 1990's, I was full-on into rap music. At the same time, though, my love of dance music started to develop. I started getting hooked on house music, and other forms of dance music (which I would later come to know as Trance). Two of my favorite dance groups back then were Deee-Lite, and Opus III, which featured the vocals of the wonderful Kirsty Hawkshaw. Some of my early favorites as far as house music -- particularly hard & tribal New York City house - were Junior Vasquez, Victor Calderone, Eddie Baez, Johnny Vicious, Peter Rauhofer, Anthony Acid, and Richie Santana. By the late 90's I was primarily into house and various other forms of electronic music, including drum N bass, and trip-hop. However, my love of other genres had not waned.At the start of the 21st century, trance had become my favorite type of music. My biggest influences back then were Oakenfold, Tiesto, Armin, Paul van Dyk, Matt Darey, Ferry Corsten, Oliver Lieb, Taucher, Signum, and Sasha (just to name a few). I was hooked! I would literally lock myself in my room, get high and blast trance. I would totally get taken to another world (I was a big pothead back then). For the longest time, Tiesto was my all-time favorite DJ, producer and remixer. I looked forward to everything he came out with. Every 'Magik', every 'In Search Of Sunrise', and every remix he ever did. Then, some time after, I began to take notice of another up-and-comer -- Armin van Buuren. Armin could do no wrong in my eyes...even to this day! Even though Armin took the number 1 spot in my book, Tiesto still kicks ass, and will always be one of the greats in my opinion. Currently, another favorite of mine is Markus Schulz. His sets are just out of this world .... flawless! Gabriel and Dresden are also in a class by themselves -- simply amazing!In all honesty, though, I love all types of music. I guess I am just versatile that way. I'm still a huge hip-hop head, and I can't live without my RnB. All in all it just depends on what mood I'm in. One thing for sure -- Trance is absolutely beautiful, and has taken me to places no other type of music has.As far as who I am, I'm a very chill, laid-back type of guy. I love to party here and there, but I also know when it is time to just chill and relax, while having a couple cocktails. I'm not into a lot of drama at all. I'm just your typical, down-to-Earth, fun-loving guy. I'm also single, too, if any cute guys want to say hi .
